Preparing for Takeoff by cezars Preparing for Takeoff by cezars
For once, I succeeded in focusing on the insect, and not beside it! :D

I hope you like this red dragonfly as much as I do!

thanks a lot :)

I just bought a new 100mm macro zoom yesterday. Can't wait to test it (still winter here!)

If you mean the EF 100mm Macro from Canon then I've ordered the same lens two days ago. :D

Yeah it's that one precisely :D I just can't wait to receive and test it.

I think it's a very good choice you made! I've read all the critics and they all say it's one of the best lens ever made by canon (same quality as the L series lens)

I looked in retail stores here in Montreal and it costs about $800-$900. I ordered it from bhphotovideo.com for $450 :) much better

Hehe yeah, I also read many user opinions in bulletin boards and also a few reviews about that lens. And as you say, the lens has L quality.
$450 is nice, hehe. I ordered the lens at a local dealer here for 545 euros, that's almost exactly $700. But that's the cheapest price here in Austria, so it's okay for me. :-)

I like this alot! The focus is on the insect but away form the insect is half , a vibrant green and the other half is an almost dead white/grey rock!
